Lectures

Curriculum:

Each lecture is 2-3 hours long, and contains in-depth genetics and bioinformatics material, review questions, and practice problems. The following topics are covered: Cell structure and chromosomal organization; mitosis and meiosis; mendelian inheritance; complex inheritance and pedigrees; gene and chromosome mutations; viruses and prions; a jeopardy review game; introduction to gene expression research; GEO2R walkthrough; String db and GO walkthrough; KEGG Pathways, GeneCards, and UCSC Genome Browser walkthrough; etc.
